Congress Weighing New Sanctions on Russia, Iran and Syria

Congress Weighing New Sanctions on Russia, Iran and Syria | united-states-capitol | Politics US Congress

US imperial strategy includes endless aggression and illegal sanctions, among other deplorable actions.

When returning from spring recess next week, Congress reportedly is considering legislation to impose new sanctions on Russia, Iran and Syria – punitive measures if passed by both houses, aggravating things rather than alleviating them.

According to House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Ed Royce (R. CA), proposed “legislation will give the administration much-needed diplomatic and financial leverage to help stop Assad’s slaughter of innocent Syrians” – a despicable Big Lie.

“It encourages real negotiations by targeting Assad’s backers,” Russia and Iran. Among other provisions, Iranian airlines are targeted for allegedly transporting weapons and munitions to Syria.

Companies like Boeing would be prohibited from selling commercial aircraft to Tehran. Its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps would be designated a terrorist organization.

So-called Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act legislation proposes new sanctions on Russia, Iran and Syria for crimes of war and against humanity – irresponsibly blaming these countries for US-led high crimes against peace.

It’s unclear whether Trump administration officials support these measures. Taking a hardline approach with Moscow will further damage already dismal relations.

UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson bashed Russia and Iran for supporting Syria. On the one hand, he wants more sanctions. On the other, he called on Moscow to help rid Syria of “toxic Assad.”

The Big Lie persists, irresponsibly accusing him of killing his own people, falsely blaming him for CWs attacks carried out by US-supported terrorists.

Johnson sounds buffoon-like, calling on Russia to ally with US-led efforts to topple Assad. He criticized Moscow for vetoing last week’s (one-sided, anti-Syria) Security Council resolution, drafted in response to the April 4 Kahn Sheikhoun CW attack.

Moscow is committed to combat the scourge of terrorism Washington, Britain and their rogue allies support.

It responsibly backs Syria’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and right of its people to choose who’ll lead them – free from foreign interference, including US wars of aggression for regime change.

Credit Card Nation: Why The Facebook Killer And The U.S. Congress Have A Great Deal In Common

Credit Card Nation: Why The Facebook Killer And The U.S. Congress Have A Great Deal In Common | Steve-Stephens-Photo-from-Cleveland-Police-460x329 | Economy & Business News Articles

Most Americans have seemingly convinced themselves that as a society we will never pay a great price for going into so much debt and that we will never pay a great price for the horrendous crimes against humanity that we are committing on a daily basis.  If you don’t understand what I am talking about, just keep reading the rest of this article.  Just as there are consequences for our actions individually, so there are also consequences for our actions as a society.  And although our national day of reckoning has been put off for quite some time, when it does finally arrive the pain is going to be absolutely unimaginable.

Just recently, I was astounded to learn that the total amount of credit card debt in the United States has crossed the trillion dollar mark.  It boggles my mind that so many Americans could be so foolish, because credit card debt is one of the worst forms of debt in existence, and financial experts all over the country have spent an extraordinary amount of time and energy trying to get this message across to people.

But even though people know that going into credit card debt is bad, they just keep on doing it anyway.  We have become a “buy now, pay later” society that gives very little consideration to long-term consequences.

On a national level, we are now nearly 20 trillion dollars in debt, and a historic showdown over government spending and debt threatens to absolutely paralyze the federal government at the end of this month.  At this point many believe that it will be virtually impossible for Congress to avoid a government shutdown on April 29th, and once it begins Donald Trump’s entire agenda will come to a complete and total crashing halt until the crisis is resolved.  The following comes from David Stockman

In the meanwhile, everything else — health care reform, tax cuts, infrastructure — will become backed-up in an endless queue of legislative impossibilities. Accordingly, there will be no big tax cut in 2017 or even next year. For all practical purposes Uncle Sam is broke and his elected managers are paralyzed.

The Treasury will be out of cash and up against a hard stop debt limit of $19.8 trillion in a matter of months. But long before that there will be a taste of the Shutdown Syndrome on April 28 owing to the accumulating number of “poison pill” “riders” to the CR.

These include the virtual certainty of riders to the House bill to “defund” Planned Parenthood and sanctuary cities. Other extraneous amendments will also possibly include funds demanded by the White House to start the Mexican Wall, enhance deportations and fund some of Trump’s $54 billion defense increase.

I am so glad that Stockman mentioned Planned Parenthood, because the decision whether or not to continue funding Planned Parenthood is going to be one of the central issues of this upcoming crisis.

Currently, the U.S. government gives Planned Parenthood roughly $500,000,000 a year.  By law, none of that money is supposed to be used to provide abortions, but everyone knows what the real deal is.

Some Planned Parenthood clinics do provide other services, but at the end of the day Planned Parenthood’s core business is abortion.  In fact, since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973 they have killed far more babies than anyone else in the United States by a very wide margin.

And for decades, the U.S. government has been the number one source of funding for Planned Parenthood.  In fact, there are questions as to whether or not Planned Parenthood would be able to continue as a viable business without money from the federal government.

Over the years, when members of Congress have voted to shower Planned Parenthood with hundreds of millions of dollars a year, they have not done it in the heat of the moment.  Rather, their votes have been the result of cold, calculated decision-making processes.

In other words, the members of Congress that have been voting to keep funding Planned Parenthood year after year have the blood of millions of dead children on their hands, and there is very little difference between them and Facebook killer Steve Stephens.

When Stephens broadcast the cold-hearted murder of a 74-year-old man on Facebook on Sunday, he instantly became a worldwide celebrity.  And even though most people in the country have now seen his face, he continues to somehow elude authorities.

What Stephens has done is absolutely horrific, and when he is finally caught he will pay greatly for his crimes.

Just like Stephens, America is on the run today.  We keep thinking that we will never have to pay a price for the tens of millions of children that we have killed, and our government continues to fund the slaughtering of the innocents that goes on every single day in this nation.

But now Congress is going to be given one more chance to make the right decision.

The Republicans have control of the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives.  They have the power to defund Planned Parenthood, but it is going to take a tremendous amount of resolve.

That is because under the current rules it is going to take 60 votes to get a spending agreement through the Senate, and so the Republicans will need at least 8 Democratic votes to get any bill to Trump’s desk.

Sadly, the Democrats are pledging to stretch out a government shutdown indefinitely if Republicans try to defund Planned Parenthood.

So what will the Republicans do?  Well, they could change the rules in the Senate to require only a simple majority vote on spending bills, and that would essentially be the “thermonuclear option”.

Or they could give in, but if they do that it would likely mean that Planned Parenthood will never be defunded, because the Republicans will never have a better opportunity than they do right now.

And I have a feeling that is what is going to happen.  I have a feeling that the Republicans are going to give in at some point and agree to keep giving Planned Parenthood half a billion dollars a year.

If that is indeed what happens, both the Democrats and the Republicans that help pass such a bill will be cold-blooded killers just like Facebook killer Steve Stephens, only those Democrats and those Republicans will have far more blood on their hands than Stephens does.

Most people do not realize this, but without a doubt this is one of the most critical moments in modern American history.  And if the funding of Planned Parenthood continues, I have a feeling that is going to mean that our national day of reckoning is much closer than most people would dare to imagine.

If we do not stop what we are doing, someday our crimes will catch up to us, and the debt that we will owe at that point will be far beyond what we can bear to pay.

You Do Not Go To War With Your Own People

You Do Not Go To War With Your Own People | Donald-Trump-Goes-To-War-Public-Domain | Politics Trump US Congress

Donald Trump is making the exact same tragic mistake that other prominent leaders have made in the past. You never, ever, ever go to war with your own people. Yes, you may have some very serious disagreements with your own team sometimes, but you never go to war with them. When Trump openly declared war on the Freedom Caucus, he immediately lost the support of millions of conservatives. And now Trump is going to have a tremendously difficult time getting anything on his agenda through Congress, because without Freedom Caucus votes the Democrats will be able to block just about everything that Trump wants to do.

Yes, I understand that Trump is upset because his healthcare legislation failed. But instead of getting angry and lashing out at the people that should be his closest allies in Congress, perhaps he should take another look at the bill.

The truth is that it was called “Obamacare Lite” for a reason. It was an absolute nightmare of a bill, and conservatives all over the nation were united in their opposition of it.

When you are a leader, sometimes you have to be willing to admit that you were wrong.

Unfortunately, Donald Trump is not very good at admitting when he is not right about something.

Instead of the path of humility, Trump has decided to go to war with the Freedom Caucus. On Friday, Trump actually posted a tweet that urged his supporters to “fight” the Freedom Caucus during the election of 2018…

The Freedom Caucus will hurt the entire Republican agenda if they don’t get on the team, & fast. We must fight them, & Dems, in 2018!

No, conservatives will definitely not be attempting to remove the best members of Congress in 2018. For Trump to even suggest this is absolute madness.

Trump desperately needs friends in Congress, and the members of the Freedom Caucus could be his best friends if he would just work with them.

But instead he is deeply alienating them, and after Trump’s tweet on Friday a couple members of the Freedom Caucus struck back at him. One of them was U.S. Representative Thomas Massie

@realDonaldTrump it’s a swamp not a hot tub. We both came here to drain it. polls 17%. Sad!

Another member of the Freedom Caucus that fired back at Trump was U.S. Representative Justin Amash

It didn’t take long for the swamp to drain @realDonaldTrump. No shame, Mr. President. Almost everyone succumbs to the D.C. Establishment.

What in the world is Trump hoping to accomplish by feuding with these conservatives?

If Trump wants to repeal Obamacare, he should just push the same clean repeal bill that was passed by the House right near the end of Obama’s time in office.

During the campaign season, Trump’s desire to fight with everyone ended up working for him, but in Washington you are going to need some friends if you actually want to accomplish anything. The members of the Freedom Caucus would have supported more of Trump’s agenda than any other group in the House of Representatives, but now he has gone to war with them.

I don’t know if I have the words to describe the utter foolishness of that move.

But even after threatening to go after their jobs in the next election, some members of the Freedom Caucus are still being conciliatory. One of them is Idaho Congressman Raul Labrador

@realDonaldTrump Freedom Caucus stood with u when others ran. Remember who your real friends are. We’re trying to help u succeed.

And Freedom Caucus co-founder Jim Jordan told Fox News that his group is “trying to help the president”

Freedom Caucus co-founder Jim Jordan, however, refused to take Trump’s bait during an interview on “America’s Newsroom.”

“We appreciate the president,” Jordan said. “We’re trying to help the president, but the fact is you have to look at the legislation.”

He added: “I’m not here to assign blame to anyone…what I focus on doing is doing what I told the voters we’re going to do.”

Instead of trying to bully his friends, Trump should try listening to them instead.

But even before it became clear that Obamacare Lite would not pass, he was threatening members of the Freedom Caucus with primary challenges if they would not vote the way that he wanted…

President Trump dared Rep. Mark Sanford to vote against the Obamacare repeal bill last week so he could put a primary challenger against the former governor in 2018, the congressman said.

According to Sanford, White House budget director Mick Mulvaney told him, “The president asked me to look you square in the eyes and to say that he hoped that you voted ‘no’ on this bill so he could run (a primary challenger) against you in 2018,” according to The Post and Courier, which first reported the story. Mulvaney, a friend of Sanford’s, was a South Carolina congressman before he joined the administration.

This is one of the signs of a weak and ineffective leader. I have seen other “leaders” try to use their power to bully people into doing what they want done, and it rarely works.

If Trump keeps acting like this, pretty soon he is not going to have any friends left. During the campaign season, Matt Drudge was one of Trump’s most fervent supporters, but now even Drudge appears to be turning on him

In early February, Drudge tweeted that the “Republican party should be sued for fraud. NO discussion of tax cuts now. Just lots of crazy. Back to basics, guys!” and “No Obamacare repeal, tax cuts! But Republicans vote to shut Warren? Only know how to be opposition not lead! DANGER ”

One month later, Drudge was even more direct, saying “Republicans lied about wanting tax cuts. Can we get our votes back?”

Then, last Thursday, amid the struggle to rally enough Republican votes to pass an ObamaCare repeal-and-replace plan, he tweeted, “The swamp drains you,” which many saw as a jab at President Trump’s campaign pledge to “drain the swamp.”

When a leader goes to war with his own people, it almost always results in a tragic ending.

Yes, Trump could perhaps take down a couple members of Congress in the 2018 election, but Trump will find that his entire presidency is paralyzed if he doesn’t have any friends in Congress.

For example, if a spending bill in not passed by April 28th, a government shutdown will begin on April 29th.

So without the help of the Freedom Caucus, where is Trump going to get the votes that he needs to avoid a shutdown?

Is Trump going to team up with the Democrats?

I don’t think so.

Without some friends in Congress, there will be no spending bill, the debt ceiling will not get raised, there will be no border wall, there will be no tax cuts, there will be no enhanced border security, there will be no trillion dollar infrastructure plan, there will be no new military spending and nothing else that Trump wants to do will get done either.

Trump is going to learn a very hard lesson that many other prominent leaders in the past have also learned.

You do not go to war with your own people.

Congress Must Investigate Collusion Between Monsanto and the EPA

Congress Must Investigate Collusion Between Monsanto and the EPA | roundup-weedkiller | Agriculture & Farming General Health

“I have cancer, and I don’t want these serious issues in HED [EPA’s Health Effects Division] to go unaddressed before I go to my grave. I have done my duty.”

It’s been four years since Marion Copley, a 30-year EPA toxicologist, wrote those words to her then-colleague, Jess Rowland, accusing him of conniving with Monsanto to bury the agency’s own hard scientific evidence that it is “essentially certain” that glyphosate, the key ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup weedkiller, causes cancer.

Copley has since died. But her letter suggesting that EPA officials colluded with Monsanto to hide the truth about Monsanto’s flagship weedkiller has been given new life.

Thanks to the persistence of hundreds of plaintiffs in lawsuits alleging that they (or their deceased family members) were diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma after being exposed to Roundup, newly discovered internal emails and other documents paint an increasingly troubling and sinister picture of corruption.

In the coming weeks and months, reporters and lawyers will continue to sift through and analyze the mountain of new documents that include emails between Monsanto and EPA officials.

What we’ve seen so far may be just the tip of the iceberg. But after all the evidence has been analyzed and exposed, will the evidence of collusion be fatal to Monsanto? Or will we allow the collusion to continue to cause fatal illness?

Congressional Hawks Want More Defense Spending Than Trump Seeks

Congressional Hawks Want More Defense Spending Than Trump Seeks | thornberry-mac | Government Military Pentagon US Congress

(image: © Greg Nash | The Hill)

House Armed Services Committee chairman Mac Thornberry (R. TX), his Senate counterpart John McCain (R. AZ), and likely most other congressional hawks want more defense spending than Trump proposed – his sought increase more than 80% of what Russia spent last year, reported by RT.

He wants already bloated spending for militarism increased by $54 billion to $603 billion. Thornberry and McCain proposed a $640 billion base budget – not counting hundreds of billions of dollars spent annually in areas related to defense, huge intelligence black budgets, and frequent appropriated add-ons for US imperial wars.

America spends well over $1.5 trillion annually on so-called defense, with all related categories included, despite having no enemies except invented ones.

In a statement only neocons and war-profiteers could love, McCain said Trump’s proposed increase is “a mere 3 percent above President Obama’s defense budget, which has left our military underfunded, undersized, and unready to confront threats to our national security.”

“With a world on fire, America cannot secure peace through strength with just 3% more than President Obama’s budget. We can and must do better.”

Fact: America’s defense spending constitutes a black hole of waste, fraud and abuse. Government watchdogs identified hundreds of billions of dollars in potential savings from unneeded weapons, defective ones, no-bid excess, overpayments, and outright fraud.

Fact: The Defense Department and related areas have a virtual blank. War-profiteers cash in hugely. Congress ignores abusive practices, handing the Pentagon what it wants on the phony pretext of national security.

Fact: US imperial wars set the world ablaze. Peace and stability are anathema to administration and congressional policymakers. Endless wars on humanity are prioritized. The only solution is waging peace, a nonstarter in Washington.

Trump’s budget director Mick Mulvaney said it’s too soon to know how his proposed defense budget will make America’s military more muscular. A fuller DOD budget will come in May.

It’s unclear how added funds will be spent – other than for endless warmaking – at the expense of vital social and other domestic programs if Republicans get their way.

Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments defense budget analyst Katherine Blakely said Trump’s plan is designed to be “politically untenable for the Democrats while trying to be as favorable as possible for the Republicans.”

CATO Institute’s Benjamin Friedman believes the plan “won’t happen because Democrats will block it.”

Since budget caps were imposed under Obama (2011 Budget Control Act sequestration, addressing the debt-ceiling), Democrats pushed for maintaining a one-for-one trade between defense and domestic spending.

If congressional appropriations exceed these caps, broadly defined categories in all departments and programs are cut by an equal percentage, including defense – at least that’s how it’s supposed to work.

It’s the law of the land unless Congress changes it, enacted by Trump signing legislation. Republicans need 60 Senate votes to raise budget caps.

Democrats won’t likely agree without non-defense discretionary spending increases matching defense ones. Whether things work out this way remains to be seen.

Congress Urged To Investigate Obama’s Silent Coup Against Trump (VIDEO)

Congress Urged To Investigate Obama’s Silent Coup Against Trump (VIDEO) | Shitbag | Multimedia Obama Exposed Politics Trump US Congress

By: The Voice of Reason |

You’re probably well aware by now of the unprecedented actions of our former president, Barack Hussein Obama, in continuing to undermine and sabotage our current administration. What you may not know is that such seditious acts didn’t just begin after Obama left office. Oh no, that activity was alive and well even before Trump was elected! Evidence has recently surfaced that Obama and his team might have been targeting Trump as far back as June 2016.

In the following video, Right Wing News looks at the evidence that has been compiled documenting Obama’s borderline criminal (or perhaps downright criminal) actions against Trump. It starts with the Obama administration’s requesting that Trump’s communications be monitored (aka wiretapped), not once but twice!

Not being content being the first president in history to actively sabotage his successor, Obama is also the first one to actively sabotage and wiretap a presidential candidate if “TrumpGate” proves to be true!

State of the Nation writes:

Congress is being urged to criminally investigate Barack Obama for attempting a silent coup against the Trump administration.

According to Radio host Mark Levin, a mountain of evidence proves that the former President tried to undermine Trump’s presidential campaign in the final months of the US election last year, which then developed into “police state” tactics in order to sabotage Trump’s transition to the White House when he won.

Congress Moves to Stop Obama’s Coup Attempt Against Trump (VIDEO)

Congress Moves to Stop Obama’s Coup Attempt Against Trump (VIDEO) | obama1 | Multimedia Obama Exposed Politics Trump US Congress

By: The Voice of Reason |

Back in June, Ted Nugent took to Facebook to go on an epic rant about Obama. In that rant he said the following:

“He’s been groomed to fool the dumbing-down victims, the self-inflicted, dumbing-down victims of America…”

“Nobody in their right mind, and I do mean correct-educated, conscientious, logical, self-evident-truth-grasping mind, will believe this punk. This guy does want an unarmed public. This guy does want to economically ruin America…”

“This guy hates America, he hates the Constitution and he hates the Bill of Rights. I believe, as so many Americans are learning more and more every day, that the president of the United States hates freedom. He’s the enemy of America.”

Nugent hardly stopped there. He went  on to say that President Obama and Hillary Clinton “should both be tried for treason & hung…” In light of all the damage the two have already done to this country, not to mention the level of damage they’re likely cause in the very near future, I for one would LOVE to see an investigation for treason opened…

For the time ever, it at least “appears” as if Congress is on to Obama’s antics, and I pray they don’t let him get away with much.  Obama “intent” to undermine the presidency of Donald Trump became abundantly clear from the moment Obama returned to Washington, and then chose to set up camp about two miles from the Trump White House.

Allegedly, Obma’s new D.C. compound is where Team Obama has been coordinating many of the the activities of their 30,000 loyal Sycophants that follow him around like clapping seals. One could even make the argument that Obama is far more dangerous as the Commander-in-Chief of his current army, than he ever was of the military, because the Army he heads now isn’t bound by any governmental rules or policies.

Once Obama assembled his his former national security team, and had them implement a telecommunication center to begin coordinating opposition to Trump’s presidency, that was when Obama really drew his line in the sand and went beyond being his typical @sshold self, into a sedition one. No former president has ever been so disrespectful his successor, the office of the Presidency, or the nation as a whole. Of course by now the country has come to expect Obama to show no class, and to act like a lowlife, but once he began taking what seem on the surface to be affirmative steps toward establishing what could be a coup, not he’s crossed over into a whole new realm.

Sadly enough, the same people that were apologists for Obama while he was in office, will most likely continue to justify his unlawful and unorthodox behavior during his post-presidency, all  while attempting to blame government dysfunction on President Trump of course. The following video conveys the numerous occasions that warranted a criminal investigation into the Treason of Barack Obama. While it is a good sign that the White House may be giving signs it plans to step up to Obama’s bullying, with the media on Team Obama, no efforts on the part of the White House may ever truly be enough to bring Obama to justice.

TheTrumpMedia Reports:

At long last, someone is asking about the one question that requires an instant response! May we get a truthful one, outlining a legal reason behind all the surveillance wrongdoings? (via Angry Patriot Movement)

Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), stated, “I expect for the FBI to tell me what is going on, and they better have a good answer,” via Washington Post.

Rep Nunes likewise said he was bothered by the leaking of the Flynn videos. He explained a complex process exists for the surveillance and recording of communications of United States citizens and the “unmasking” of this kind of conversations for intelligence agency usage.

Committee members assume the most important question raised by resigned General Michael Flynn’s retirement as national security advisor centers around why the eavesdropping on his phone calls by the NSA or FBI was even released– and then passed to the news media!

“The real story here is why are there so many illegal leaks coming out of Washington? Will these leaks be happening as I deal on N.Korea etc?” twittered President Donald Trump.

Nunes was definitely correct when specifying the “big problem” with the whole problem, in which the media are attempting to turn into a scandal, is that a private U.S. citizen, that Flynn was at the time, should certainly never have had his phone calls observed and recorded by the federal government.

The California Republican called out the Democrats as impostors on the Flynn problem. All the liberals shouted over privacy concerns when Hillary Clinton’s emails were demanded by the FBI, but they are completely quiet now although Clinton was under investigation and Flynn was not!

President Trump appears upset. Throughout a press conference earlier on today, he called Flynn a “wonderful man” who didn’t need to have his career demolished by leaks. Rep Trey Gowdy likewise took note the illegality of revealing classified information.

Liberal television experts remained to run spectacular headlines regarding the entire Michael Flynn concern, even declaring conspiracy among the Trump administration and Russia. They do this with zero evidence, which many eventually and begrudgingly admit in their fake news articles.

If you didn’t in fact read the whole stories or only got your news from mainstream media , you would think the decorated veteran had actually promised to relieve Obama’s enforced sanctions on Russia after Trump took the vow of office. That was not the scenario regarding the actual evidence shows.

When Flynn talked with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, he relayed his gratitude for the country not overreacting to the poke in the eye from the holdover president. When asked by Kislyak especially about lifting the sanctions in future, Flynn only said Donald Trump would very soon take office and would be examining the circumstance.

Congresswoman Maxine Waters Goes Bonkers on Camera, Again. (VIDEO)

Congresswoman Maxine Waters Goes Bonkers on Camera, Again. (VIDEO) | maxine-waters | Multimedia Politics Sleuth Journal Special Interests US Congress

By: The Voice of Reason |

Being no stranger to public meltdowns, fan favorite Congresswoman Maxine Waters has a long history of demonstrating that she lacks a filter that is capable of processing whatever it is that takes place between her ears before it comes out of her mouth, and this week was no different. On more than one occasion, Waters made a complete fool of herself, and thankfully her outbursts were caught on camera.

In the article below, The Gateway Pundit provides a transcript, and 38 seconds of video that captured Congresswoman Waters in what has become one of her signature rants on camera. Based on what can be deciphered from her rant, President Trump certainly isn’t very high on the Congresswoman’s list of esteemed colleagues within the Washington beltway, however she seems to have a very difficult time articulating her issues with the President in anything resembling a coherent, or factually accurate manner.

In the video provided by Gateway Pundit, Congresswoman Waters shows her total lack of understanding with regard to how the impeachment process works before a national audience. Apparently she believes a president can be impeached based on lack of popularity. Perhaps if she had ever read the Constitution she swore to uphold she would have known that the list of offenses a president can be impeached for can be found in Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution.

In the first video, Right Wing News video revisits some of Maxine Waters prior public gaffs, and then explains how the impeachment process works under the U.S. Constitution. Once you understand what is required, and how the process works, it only makes anyone calling for President Trump’s impeachment sound ridiculous.

Gateway Pundit Reports:

Maxine Waters Goes Crazy Again On MSNBC

Democratic Congresswoman is doubling down on comments she made on Monday where she called for President Trump’s impeachment and also claimed that Vladimir Putin had invaded Korea.

Appearing on MSNBC on Tuesday, Waters made outrageous and offensive comments about President Trump.

Transcript from her rant on MSNBC:

This is the most outrageous and ridiculous President that this country has ever had. He cannot be depended on for anything that he says and so for them to try to pretend that somehow what i’m saying is outrageous and I’ve been reined in and all of that, there’s no truth to that. As a matter of fact, all that Nancy Pelosi said was that she was not ready to talk about impeachment, I’m ready to talk about it because I do believe that he has shown us enough and defined himself in ways that we have to be suspicious and concerned about him and we’ve got to dig deeper.

Sorry, Maxine. You can’t impeach a president because you don’t like him. It doesn’t work that way.

Bill Shutting U.S. Education Department Introduced in Congress

Bill Shutting U.S. Education Department Introduced in Congress | department-of-education | Government Parental Rights US Congress US Constitution & Bill Of Rights

By: Alex Newman, The New American |

Legislation to shut down the controversial and unconstitutional U.S. Department of Education was introduced in Congress this week by Representative Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), a leading constitutional conservative. The bill, H.R. 899, would help President Donald Trump follow through on his campaign statements suggesting a desire to abolish the department as well as the Obama-backed “Common Core” school standards. The legislation was introduced on the same day U.S. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos was confirmed by the Senate.

If and when the bill is passed into law, the one-sentence measure would give the powerful U.S. Education Department until the end of 2018 to wind down its operations. What would happen then with the dizzying array of unconstitutional federal “education” programs, statutes, and decrees was not immediately clear. But sources on Capitol Hill said the focus was on getting the ball rolling, with the details to be nailed down later.

The bill is literally only one sentence long, at least for now. “The Department of Education shall terminate on December 31, 2018,” reads the text of the legislation. The bill was introduced with a good number of co-sponsors, all of them among the more liberty-minded wing of the Republican Party who take their oath to the U.S. Constitution seriously. Among the original co-sponsors are congressmen Justin Amash (R-Mich.), Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), Jody Hice (R-Ga.), Walter Jones (R-N.C.), and Raul Labrador (R-Idaho). It was referred to the House Committee on Education and the Workforce.

In a February 7 statement released in conjunction with the bill, Congressman Massie, the lead sponsor, eloquently and succinctly explained why the U.S. Education Department needed to be shuttered. “Neither Congress nor the President, through his appointees, has the constitutional authority to dictate how and what our children must learn,” explained Massie, who has an almost perfect score on the “Freedom Index” for voting constitutionally during his first two terms in Congress. In other words, the Constitution does not authorize federal education meddling, and therefore, it needs to stop.

There are also practical reasons why shutting down the department is good policy. “Unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. should not be in charge of our children’s intellectual and moral development,” Massie observed. “States and local communities are best positioned to shape curricula that meet the needs of their students. Schools should be accountable. Parents have the right to choose the most appropriate educational opportunity for their children, including home school, public school, or private school.”

Congressman Walter Jones, another one of the more Constitution-friendly members of Congress, also pointed out that the federal government has no legitimate business meddling in education. “For years, I have advocated returning education policy to where it belongs — the state and local level,” explained the conservative lawmaker from North Carolina. “D.C. bureaucrats cannot begin to understand the needs of schools and its students on an individual basis. It is time that we get the feds out of the classroom, and terminate the Department of Education.”

Yet another liberty-minded lawmaker, Representative Raul Labrador of Idaho, touted the benefits of local control over education policy. “I’ve always been a proponent of empowering parents, teachers and local school boards who best know our children and their needs,” said the congressman. “Eliminating the U.S. Department of Education is the most important step we in Congress can take in returning decision making to the local level.”

Freshman Congressman Andy Biggs of Arizona, meanwhile, noted that the federal education bureaucracy played a massive role in imposing the current educational disaster afflicting America’s children. “Education of our students should lie primarily with parents, teachers, and state and local officials who know how to meet their individual needs best,” he explained. “Since its inception, the Department of Education has grown into an unrecognizable federal beast, and its policies have helped foster Common Core across the country. It is time the one-size-fits-all approach by the federal government is ended and authority is returned to the local level.”

In a press release announcing the bill, the lawmakers behind the effort noted that the U.S. Department of Education began operations in 1980. But it was hardly uncontroversial. In fact, the next year, in an address to the nation on his program for economic recovery, President Ronald Reagan — an icon among GOP voters and Americans generally — touted his desire to shut down the unconstitutional bureaucracy altogether.

As the third step in his proposed plan, President Reagan called for shutting down two cabinet departments — education and energy. Some of the activities of the departments, he said, perhaps thinking of the nuclear arsenal overseen by the Energy Department, for example, would continue independently or in other parts of government. But the time had come for serious action to rein in big government.

“There’s only one way to shrink the size and cost of big government, and that is by eliminating agencies that are not needed and are getting in the way of a solution,” Reagan said. “Now, we don’t need an Energy Department to solve our basic energy problem. As long as we let the forces of the marketplace work without undue interference, the ingenuity of consumers, business, producers, and inventors will do that for us.”

“Similarly, education is the principal responsibility of local school systems, teachers, parents, citizen boards, and State governments,” the popular president continued in his speech. “By eliminating the Department of Education less than 2 years after it was created, we cannot only reduce the budget but ensure that local needs and preferences, rather than the wishes of Washington, determine the education of our children.”

Unfortunately for America and the Constitution, the U.S. Education Department continued to exist, and to accumulate more and more power, money, and control over schools nationwide — squandering hundreds of billions of dollars while making education worse. Since the Reagan administration, Republicans at all levels of government have paid lip-service to shutting down the unconstitutional bureaucracy. But they now control the White House and both houses of Congress, giving the GOP and conservative Americans a historic opportunity to follow through.

And indeed, Trump has long touted the idea of shutting it down the whole operation. “A lot of people believe the Department of Education should just be eliminated — get rid of it,” Trump said in one of many similar statements on the campaign trail. “If we don’t eliminate it completely, we certainly need to cut its power and reach.” The solution, he suggested, would be to go back to what the Constitution explicitly requires — absolutely no federal role in education.

“Education has to be run locally,” Trump also said. “Common Core, No Child Left Behind, and Race to the Top are all programs that take decisions away from parents and local school boards. These programs allow the progressives in the Department of Education to indoctrinate, not educate, our kids. What they are doing does not fit the American model of governance. I am totally against these programs and the Department of Education. It’s a disaster. We cannot continue to fail our children — the very future of this nation.”

In separate comments, asked what departments he would cut, Trump again directly aimed at the unconstitutional schools bureaucracy. “I may cut Department of Education,” he explained. “Common Core is a very bad thing. I think that it should be local education.” He then blasted establishment globalist Jeb Bush and other Big Government Republican candidates, who he said “want children to be educated by Washington, D.C. bureaucrats.” More than a few other GOP presidential candidates also called for shutting the whole thing down.

Of course, despite the lack of constitutional authority to do so, even before the U.S. Department of Education was officially established during President Jimmy Carter’s administration, the federal government had already started meddling in education. In fact, for decades, the unconstitutional U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, created without Congress by an out-of-control President Dwight Eisenhower, was quietly expanding its influence over schooling across America under various guises.

Since then, Congress has continued to pass massive and completely unconstitutional education schemes purporting to usurp power over education that was specifically reserved to the states and the people under the Constitution’s Tenth Amendment. Most recently, Democrats and establishment Republicans passed the “Every Student Succeeds Act” — a gargantuan educational monstrosity celebrated by Obama as a “Christmas miracle” — usurping even more unconstitutional powers under the demonstrably fraudulent guise of returning power to the states. The bill even funds the creation of “full-service community schools” that would all but replace parents.

Advocates of shutting down the Education Department and restoring local control celebrated the new bill, but called for a few amendments to ensure that the federal tentacles would not continue to exert influence over schools. Sheri Few, president of the national grassroots group United States Parents Involved in Education (USPIE), noted that her organization’s mission is actually to end the U.S. Department of Education and all federal mandates relating to education. “So, we are very pleased to learn of Rep. Massie’s bill and we are grateful to bill sponsors for taking the lead on this important issue,” Few said in a written statement.

“However, if we really want the feds out of the education business, we should advocate that ALL federal education programs be closed,” Few continued. “For example, closing USED without eliminating the federally funded testing consortia, leaves the potential for the consortia (SBAC and PARCC) to remain in their role as an institutional mechanism that perpetuates Common Core and the same re-branded national standards. Therefore, any effort to shut down USED must include a sunset of the federal testing consortia.”

The grassroots education group also recommended an amendment to the legislation that would require Education Secretary DeVos to present the department’s closure plan to Congress “for transparency and approval,” Few said. With state chapters across America, the group has been working hard to restore local control of education, in part by advocating an end to the U.S Education Department. The activists will continue working toward that mission in the months ahead. (This writer volunteers on the group’s advisory board).

Whether Education Secretary DeVos will get onboard with the agenda pushed by the Republican lawmakers and even President Trump on the campaign trail remains to be seen. However, shortly after Trump selected her, a statement was released indicating that DeVos planned to work on “higher national standards.” Critics expressed serious concern. While she quickly released a statement distancing herself from the politically toxic Common Core scheme imposed on America with bribes and bullying from Obama’s Education Department, DeVos has not publicly called for abolishing the unconstitutional agency she now leads.

The billionaire “school choice” advocate, who was viciously opposed by teachers’ unions and the hysterical far-left, along with some opposition on the right, was narrowly confirmed in a historic 51-50 Senate vote on February 7. Vice President Mike Pence cast the deciding vote to break the tie after two liberal Republicans broke ranks and sided with Democrats. But if conservatives wanting to abolish the U.S. Department of Education get their way, DeVos may soon be out of a job anyway. And for schoolchildren, the Constitution, and real school choice, that would be excellent news.

Tracking Bill Passes Congress – Is This the Start of Legal Human Microchipping?

Tracking Bill Passes Congress – Is This the Start of Legal Human Microchipping? | globe-world-surveillance-tracking-microchips | Government Control Medical & Health New World Order RFID Chips Science & Technology Sleuth Journal Special Interests Surveillance Tyranny & Police State US Congress

A Tracking Bill disturbingly passed Congress on Dec. 8th, 2016, and is now on its way to the US Senate. Bill HR 4919, titled “Kevin and Avonte’s Law of 2016”, contains clauses which establish the creation of a legal tracking system for Americans. The tracking bill introduces “tracking devices” which are “non-invasive” and “non-permanent” (although per the frog in the slowly boiling pot, these programs always begin out slowly and end up becoming tyrannical). Under the guise of helping “missing Americans with dementia and developmental disabilities”, the tracking bill allows the Attorney General (head of the Department of Justice, which is part of the Executive governmental branch) to set standards and develop programs to track the movements of certain people. The people to be tracked are adults with dementia and developmental disabilities (such as Alzheimer’s) and children with autism. Is this tracking bill, despite its overt wording and so-called privacy protections, really a covert way to get a foot in the door for a future microchipping bill? If this becomes law, will it be the beginning of legal human microchipping in the USA?

HR4919 Tracking Bill Excerpts: Locative Tracking Technology Programs

With this tracking bill, Congress is trying to give the Executive Branch the power and authority to track people with mental and developmental disabilities. It’s brought in under the guise of protecting missing people and helping those who wander off from safe places. There’s that word again: “safe”. How many times have we been tricked into giving up liberty for security? How many times have all sorts of outrageous abuses of power been justified by “public safety”? How many times has the truth been hidden from us under the cover of “national security”?

Here is a specific passage from the bill:

“… the Attorney General … shall award grants to health care agencies, State and local law enforcement agencies, or public safety agencies to assist such agencies in designing, establishing, and operating locative tracking technology programs for individuals with forms of dementia, such as Alzheimer’s Disease, or children with developmental disabilities, such as autism, who have wandered from safe environments.”

In this video (embedded above), Melissa Dykes talks about how vague psychological or psychiatric labels such as “mental disability” and “developmental disability” could be used to cast a wide net around members of society critical of the government – truthtellers, dissenters, activists, alternative journalists and independent reporters. Remember how psychiatry invents fictitious diseases to make profit, as admitted by psychiatrist Leon Eisenberg on his deathbed? Remember the out-of-control growth of “mental illness”? Remember ridiculous and unscientific diseases like ODD (Oppositional Defiance Disorder) which make dissent a crime?

Those defending this bill will point out that it includes many safeguards, such as this privacy protection:

“(6) NON-INVASIVE AND NON-PERMANENT.—The term “non-invasive and non-permanent” means, with regard to any technology or device, that the procedure to install the technology or device does not create an external or internal marker or implant a device or other trackable items.”

It also contains these 2 limitations:

“(d) Limitations On Program.—

(1) DATA STORAGE.—Any tracking data provided by tracking devices issued under this program may not be used by a Federal entity to create a database.

(2) VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION.—Nothing in this Act may be construed to require that a parent or guardian use a tracking device to monitor the location of a child or adult under that parent or guardian’s supervision if the parent or guardian does not believe that the use of such device is necessary or in the interest of the child or adult under supervision.”

However, we all know that if you give government an inch, it takes a mile. Once started, a government program becomes entrenched and very difficult to ever eliminate. In the above video, even Congressman Louie Gohmert notes that it would not be difficult for lawmaker down the line to change the conditions of limitation that exist in this bill, by amending it to allow the government to make a federal database, make it mandatory, make it apply to everyone – and even change the “non-invasive tracking device” to an implantable microchip.

Microchipping: Endgame of the New World Order

People such as David Icke have been warning for decades that the ultimate goal of the New World Order is a world army, world bank, world currency and a microchipped population. This goal has been confirmed by whistleblowers over the years such as Aaron Russo (who in this video recounted his conversation with Nick Rockefeller. Aaron was told that 9/11 was about to occur [before it happened] and that the NWO criminals were planning on microchipping everyone). Microchipping is completely in line with the synthetic agenda. It’s the ultimate goal for a control freak, because once the chip is inside of you, your thoughts and emotions will be able to be directly and remotely influenced to a degree never before witnessed in human history. Any steps down this path, no matter how innocent and beneficial they seem at the beginning, are a major danger.
