Balch Springs, TX — Coming just weeks after Balch Springs Police Officer Roy Oliver killed 15-year-old Jordan Edwards, was fired, and later arrested and charged with murder, another scandal has rocked the department. This time, it is torture with a taser.
Body camera footage was mailed to Fox4 News showing a Black man being tased while handcuffed. Thirty-nine-year-old Marco Stephenson was compliant, not resisting at all, and in handcuffs when the torture began.
The leaked body camera footage shows Stephenson with his hands raised above his head as officers approach. Balch Springs PD responded to a 911 call of a man brandishing a weapon.
Stephenson admitted he had a BB gun but denied threatening anyone with it. According to our experts in gang activities, criminals use BB and pellet guns to keep enemies at bay who are unaware the toys are not real.
Stephenson was handcuffed and told he was under arrest for threatening the community who’d called 911 to report him. He denied committing any crime but was, by all accounts, compliant with all officer commands.
He spit his toothpick into the grass which seemed to have set off the cops. He got a little mouthy with one of the officers (inaudible) and was immediately tased.
“Don’t pull away! You understand? You understand?” an unidentified sergeant on the video said as he was tasing Stephenson. “Don’t pull away! You get it?! You get it?! Because I ain’t playing with you today! Do you understand?!”
“Yes sir,” answered Stephenson as he again complied with officer commands. Yet the cop kept tasering him — even after he fell to the ground.
The incident apparently raised the eyebrows of fellow officers who promptly reported the incident to the sergeant’s superiors.
According to the Chief of Police for Balch Springs, the incident was reviewed by three different entities; Texas Rangers, Professional Standards and the Dallas County DA’s Public Integrity Unit.
Chief Jonathon Haber said, “We decided together that this was an administrative issue, not a criminal issue.” And since Stephenson didn’t file a complaint, no charges were brought against the officer.
While the department has a vocal supporter on their side, Reverend Ronald Wright, others apparently aren’t happy with the conclusions reached in the internal investigation and they are the ones who leaked the video to the press.
Wright said, “There was some things that were done that could have been kept quiet. But there was some officers that set an example of what all police departments should do.”
Now the chief is looking to see who leaked the video, seemingly more concerned about the Balch Springs PD’s image than with arresting another member of his police force.
Haber described Stephenson’s lengthy criminal record to reporters, citing the number of times he’d been arrested and processed in the jail system. But the video, coupled with the latest killing of an unarmed innocent child, leave more questions than answers.
Why did the department choose to keep someone on its force who’d tased a handcuffed compliant man? Why after whistleblowers turned him in was he not fired? And how and why did three law enforcement agencies arrive at the conclusion no crime had been committed?
It seems Haber is more interested in finding out who leaked the video to the press and firing that person than he is concerned with protecting the civil rights and liberties of Mr. Stephenson and others like him.
According to Chief Haber, the sergeant in question was reprimanded and put on “no contact with the public” until he completed courses in conflict resolution, anti-bias, and how to respond to mental health calls. All in all, he got away with tasing a handcuffed man without losing one day’s pay.
Something has to change with modern policing methods when officers are not charged for doing things to handcuffed suspects that the public cannot do to each other. Many consider it to be an example of a double standard at work for law enforcement. What would have happened had the taser killed Stephenson? Remember Graham Dyer and Gregory Towns? They weren’t as lucky as Stephenson.
Here’s a look at some of the most common diets people are using. I am not endorsing any of these but I’ve received a lot of questions about them and wanted to provide a brief overview. Fundamentally, I usually recommend a mostly vegetarian diet but that also is a personal preference; you need to do what’s best for you. Some of these plans are fundamentally solid in their approach and I would encourage you to dig deeper and do your own research if any happen strike a chord with your personal situation.
1. The Atkins Diet
The Atkins diet takes a high protein, low-carbohydrate approach. All the meat and vegetables you want with no restrictions on fats. All carbs are restricted or at a bare minimum. This rock bottom carb intake can put the body in a state of ketosis, where, in short, the body uses fat instead of glycogen for energy, leading to huge losses in body fat and weight reduction. This diet can be difficult to maintain long term. Nutritionally, it’s often noted for being low in fiber and calcium.
2. The Carbohydrate Addict’s Diet
The philosophy surrounding this method center around the idea that carbohydrate addicts’ bodies produce more insulin, causing hunger and weight gain. This diet aims to address both of those issues with nutrition. It’s a reduced carbohydrate diet that allows meat, dairy, vegetables, fruits, and grain products, but restricts all other carbohydrates. It can be high in fat and saturated fat.
3. The Choose to Lose Diet
This diet cycles carb intake- high carbs one day, low the next- paired with a high cardio exercise plan designed to achieve maximum fat burning. The diet is low in fat, allows you to eat from all of the major food groups, and provides an ample amount of fruits and vegetables. This one isn’t bad.
4. The DASH Diet
The DASH diet was originally intended to lower blood pressure through diet, but weight loss was also found to be a beneficial side effect. This diet, also popular with diabetics, suggests more servings of fruits and vegetables and more dairy servings; fiber intake is medium to high.
Also known as the Ornish Diet, this is a low fat diet that is mostly vegetarian focused. Dairy is allowed in low amounts, meats of all kinds are avoided. The philosophy is that eating whole, vegetarian foods, even in quantity, doesn’t have many downsides, and because it’s high in fiber, you’ll feel full faster and a self regulating mechanism will kick in. This diet is a great choice as long as you make sure your vitamin and mineral requirements are met.
6. The Eat Right For Your Blood Type Diet
This diet plan is based on the idea that each blood type has a corresponding exercise and nutritional regime that matches it best. Type A has a vegetarian diet, Type O is allowed lots of meat. It’s an interesting idea but little proof has been shown to support the argument.
A new bill, HR 1313, has been introduced by North Carolina Congresswoman Virginia Foxx which is designed to give employers absolute power over the employee by mandating whatever they deem to be proper “heath prevention” measures. These measures would include submitting DNA records as well as mandatory vaccinations and other perceived “health preventive” measures designed for the “greater good” of the general public. The result of not complying with this new law of course would be losing your job.
This kind of legislation thus gives large corporations government-like political status and god-like powers over the individual and further widens the gap between the rich and poor. But even more importantly this kind of legislation strips away intimate individual medical privacy and further solidifies the global control grid being created by the ruling elite as they attempt to complete their new world order plans of permanent human enslavement. No need to imagine how this “future” new world order enslavement will look like anymore. We’re seeing it all being rolled out in real-time and in broad daylight for the world to see.
As I discuss in my video below, all of this is part of the Communist-Globalist “peaceful revolution” strategy which is designed to financially neutralize the individual by first making the individual financially dependent on the state or the rulers, and then the threat of having all their food and survival (work related) income taken away is enough to “peacefully” silence the individual into submission.
While Republican congresswoman Virginia Foxx is the main sponsor of H.R. 1313, she is not the originator of the legislation. It is actually part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare.
Obamacare already threatens to assess penalties, surcharges and higher health insurance premiums to businesses and workers who refuse vaccinations – which the healthcare legislation refers to as “disease prevention.”
It’s time to pay attention and fight back. Organize your counterattack smartly, effectively and efficiently. Start somewhere and then build from there knowing that every voice counts. Below Schmidt explains some of the politics behind this resolution and offers a way to take action:
The National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) calls the H.R. 1313 bill a threat to both businesses and the people employed by them. Instead of allowing for free choice in health and wellness decisions, the legislation would attempt to implement a “carrot and stick” method for “strongly compelling” businesses and workers to accept the agendas of big pharma and its paid-off government officials.
The National Vaccine Information Center is urging concerned citizens to contact their own representatives and senators to express their views about H.R. 1313. When doing so, please remember to express your opinions intelligently and respectfully – you are far more likely to be heard if you are firm but polite when explaining your point of view.
All of this serves to remind us that science has been undermined by the ruling elite and that government pseudoscience has taken its place. This politicized science is then used to make claims which are then used to take away your rights. So first let’s be mindful of how this problem began and then let’s fight back with awareness, information-spreading and do what we can to introduce our own new bills to secure our right to privacy and health. Let’s remind both governments and large corporations that our right to natural health and personal physical and mental well being is inalienable and cannot be taken away.
The much-vaunted hierarchy of evidence is regularly referred to by scientists and doctors as a central part of the scientific method. It is the purported gold standard by which we can arrive at the truth of something, and by which we can weigh different kinds of evidence, and determine which should be given more credence, and which should be given less. The hierarchy of evidence is often brought into debates by those pushing the vaccine, GMO and fluoride agendas as a way to prove that the “science” behind those agendas is sound. However, there is one rather colossal problem with invoking the hierarchy of evidence to prove your case, but before we get to that, let’s take define what the hierarchy of evidence is.
What is the Hierarchy of Evidence?
In a nutshell, the hierarchy of evidence, although different people and institutions construct it slightly differently, gives most weight to RCTs (Randomized Controlled Trials), then next to other kinds of controlled trials, then to other studies such as cohort and case-control studies, and lastly to expert opinion, case reports and anecdotal evidence. Wikipedia uses the writing of Greenhalgh to frame the hierarchy of evidence as follows:
Systematic reviews and meta-analyses of “RCTs with definitive results”.
Randomised controlled trials with definitive results (confidence intervals that do not overlap the threshold clinically significant effect)
Randomised controlled trials with non-definitive results (a point estimate that suggests a clinically significant effect but with confidence intervals overlapping the threshold for this effect)
Here is another rating system for the hierarchy of evidence from Melnyk and Fineout-Overholt, 2005:
Evidence from a systematic review of all relevant RCTs, or evidence-based clinical practice guidelines based on systematic reviews of RCTs
Evidence obtained from at least one well-designed RCT
Evidence obtained from well-designed controlled trials without randomization, quasi-experimental
Evidence from well-designed case-control and cohort studies
Evidence from systematic reviews of descriptive and qualitative studies
Evidence from a single descriptive or qualitative study
Evidence from the opinion of authorities and/or reports of expert committees
So basically what it all means is this: if you are a corporation trying to push a certain product that is harmful to people, if you can get enough RCT reviews and RCTs on your side, you can legally and scientifically claim your product is safe, and get enough scientists, doctors, politicians and the public on your side to either repeat your point of view or defend it. Most of them don’t even need to be in on the secret, because they have been trained to obediently trust the hierarchy of evidence.
And how would a devious corporation or cabal achieve this? One word: fraud.
Fraud Vitiates All
There is a well-known maxim in law that fraud vitiates all, meaning that if fraud is involved in any way in an agreement, it destroys the whole thing. You can’t have partial fraud and expect the rest of a contract to be trustworthy. If someone has lied, omitted relevant information or deceived you in any way, the whole thing collapses. Such is the case with so much of the “science” behind the chemical agendas. Fraud has rendered it as nothing more than corporate junk science, a pale imitation of real science that would serve humanity.
“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines … I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.”
Fraud is everywhere. For starters, take vaccines. What a colossal amount of fraud that has been committed to push them! Look at the recent case of CDC (the US Center for Disease Control) whistleblower William Thompson, who bravely decided to step forward to tell the truth about the willful obfuscation of data he had committed while working there. Thompson participated in hiding statistically significant data on the MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) vaccine showing that it was linked with a higher incidence of autism for black boys under 3 years old. Thompson wrote:
“I regret that my coauthors and I omitted statistically significant information in our 2004 article published in the journal Pediatrics. The omitted data suggested that African American males who received the MMR vaccine before age 36 months were at increased risk for autism. Decisions were made regarding which findings to report after the data were collected, and I believe that the final study protocol was not followed.”
So Thompson used fraud to hide a vaccine-autism link for his boss the CDC, who work hand in hand with Big Pharma to push vaccines across America. He later authored many other papers, such a 2007 one where he “found” that mercury in vaccines played no role in neurological damage to children.
Merck, one of the Big Pharma companies, got caught using fraud to ensure it could keep selling its MMR vaccine:
“Without demonstrating that its mumps vaccine continued to be 95% effective, Merck would lose its exclusive license to manufacture and sell its MMRII vaccine. Relators Krahling and Wlochowski participated on the team that conducted this supposedly enhanced test. Each of them witnessed firsthand the falsification of the test data in which Merck engaged to reach its 95% efficacy threshold. In fact, each was significantly pressured by Krah and other senior Merck personnel to participate in this fraud.”
Did you hear about the study that found that 57 clinical trials received an “official action indicated” violation (the most serious type of violation), for reasons such as falsifying the data? When GSK got fined a gigantic $3 billion, part of the reason was they were found guilty for fabricating drug safety data and lying to the FDA. What about the researcher who faked lab results to obtain millions in grant money for AIDS research? The hierarchy of evidence simply cannot handle fraud like this; it’s not designed to.
What Point is the Hierarchy of Evidence When Scientists Can Omit and Distort Data at Will?
The question needs to be asked: what is the point of having a hierarchy of evidence when it’s so easy for scientists to scoot around via back-door methods? When scientists can (and so often do) omit and twist data to suit their agenda, how can we believe it when some government agency or corporation comes out and tells us that their product is safe because the science has settled it? How do we know it isn’t just more junk science, fake science or corporate science disguising itself as real science?
The Hierarchy of Evidence Disregards Real Stories of Suffering
Apart from the rampant fraud, the hierarchy of evidence has another major problem: it disregards real stories of suffering as “low level evidence”. This means that in cases where something like vaccines, Big Pharma drugs or chemotherapy kill or seriously harm people, the stories are treated as unprovable or unimportant anecdotes and swept under the carpet.
Yet I would suggest that both our minds and our hearts need to take into account, in a much more serious way, the colossal tide of killed and injured individuals. Here are just a handful out of many, all of whom died or got sick right after a vaccine:
– Hilary Wilkinson, who contracted GBS (Guillain Barre Syndrome) which paralyzed her after taking the swine flu vaccine;
– Ayushi, who died after taking “routine” vaccinations for Hepatitis B, DPT and oral polio;
– Katie, who became chronically ill after taking the Gardasil vaccine;
– Malcolm Brabant, who became mad after taking the yellow-fever vaccination;
What about the 13 people who died after taking the flu vaccine? What about the 17 children who died after receiving the Hepatitis B vaccine? What about the 749 deaths linked to the administration of the Hib vaccine?
It is so saddening to hear about how many real people have been harmed by corporate science and its slavish devotion to the “hierarchy of evidence”, but it will always argue that those harmed are basically within “acceptable parameters” because we need to think of how many hypothetical people were saved. How do you prove how many were saved? You can’t. So in the end it would appear the hierarchy of evidence is very much a faith-based structure, not a reason-based one.
Herbs are widely used by many people all over the world, mostly by those seeking alternatives or adjuncts to traditional pharmaceuticals. While no one herb will solve every health issue, scientific data exists to show specific chemicals within certain herbs have the power to affect biological function. Herbs for women’s health have been researched extensively over the past few decades, with many showing promise for improving libido, supporting energy levels, and elevating mood.
The Top Herbs for Women’s Health
Many scientists believe that specific chemicals isolated from plant materials and then extracted provide the most benefit to human health. Still, the whole herb, when used in conjunction with other herbs that provide similar chemical constituents and/or health benefits, is equally as effective. Here are some of the top herbs, extracted or otherwise, that have shown benefit to female health.
1. Muira puama
Muira puama is also known as ‘potency wood,’ and for very good reason. One study evaluating over 200 women found that the bark and root of muira puama significantly stimulated libido. Over 65% of women in the study had better sexual satisfaction and orgasm intensity. Muira puama may also be helpful for increasing motivation for sex, supporting energy for day-to-day activities, and stress reduction.
Ashwagandha is an ancient Indian herb that is said to support female reproduction and libido. The herb has been used for centuries to combat stress in women and men alike. Ashwagandha specifically targets the endocrine system and encourages hormonal balance. One study with over 50 menopausal women looked into the effects of supplementing with ashwagandha and found a significant decline in symptoms such as anxiety, hot flashes, and mood. Ashwagandha has been used to support good mood for centuries, and research is beginning to find that the plant may play a powerful role in combating mental and emotional stress. This makes ashwagandha a potent tool against mood swings.
3. Tribulus terrestris
Tribulus terrestris is also used for supporting hormonal balance, and research hints at its role for boosting female libido. Tribulus has plenty of research behind it for supporting libido in both men and women. An important study showed that tribulus improved desire for intercourse in 49 out of 50 female participants. A recent study from 2014 found that female desire, arousal, and satisfaction is greatly improved following tribulus supplementation. The herb may also combat mood swings commonly experienced during the menstrual period. Similar in action as kava kava, tribulus terrestris may positively improve mood and reduce stress and anxiety.
Maca root is a popular herbal tool commonly used by men to support healthy hormone levels; however, women also report great benefits balancing hormonal levels with maca. While studying the root for its potential weight loss benefits, researchers observed that women enjoyed a significant reduction in common menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes, night sweats, and depressed mood. Another similar study found beneficial effects of maca supplementation on menopause symptoms. Supporting healthy libido in women is also a benefit of using maca. One important study found that supplementation with maca was effective for combating sexual dysfunction in women, particulary after taking SSRI, a commonly-prescribed antidepressant. Throughout the study, women enjoyed improvement in sexual satisfaction with three grams of maca per day.
5. Avena Sativa
Natural aphrodisiacs have been used successfully for thousands of years, with avena sativa being no exception. Also referred to as ‘oat straw,’ avena sativa is a powerful natural aphrodisiac, and recent research is validating its common use. Oats may also support bone health, which is important because osteoporosis is more common in women than it is in men. Avena sativa is rich in calcium, a nutrient that plays an important role — along with vitamin D and vitamin K — in bone density. Oat straw increases levels of luteinizing hormone in rats, a hormone that is crucial for stimulating cell growth. This may help initiate bone cell production, possibly supporting bone health.
The catuaba tree was first utilized by the Tupi Indians in Northern Brazil, who brewed the leaves to make an aphrodisiac tea. Traditional cultures have used catuaba bark for a wide range of benefits, but its potent aphrodisiac qualities is perhaps its most popular application. Catuaba bark contains the chemical yohimbine, the active compound that provides a stimulatory effect.
Usually referred to as South American Ginseng, suma is often used to support stamina. Natives in the Amazon have looked toward Suma root for aiding libido in women, and research confirms this ancient belief. Some research also suggests that suma root may be helpful for supporting female fertility by balancing hormone levels. This is especially important today as the world becomes increasingly overwhelmed with hormone disruptors. Research shows that suma root can be helpful for encouraging estradiol-17 beta, an estrogen hormone produced in women during reproduction years, further improving hormone balance.
Further Actions You Can Take
Herbs are an excellent complementary approach to an overall healthy lifestyle, and as you can see above, research supports it as a powerful way to support female health. Many of the above herbs are found in Female Fuzion™, carefully paired with other similar organic herbs that support physical drive and function. Avoiding environmental endocrine disruptors, like plastics and pesticides, can also be a great way to protect your hormones. Getting enough sleep, staying physically active, and receiving an optimum level of sunlight exposure are also excellent methods you can use to keep hormones running smoothly.
Have you been experiencing hormonal issues lately? What have you been doing to get it back into balance? We’d love to hear your thoughts!
Are you sick and tired of being betrayed by politicians that use the conservative label to get votes but then never actually act like conservatives once they get into office? As a voter, this is something that has deeply frustrated me for decades. On the federal level, there are a few dozen true conservatives in Congress, and I am very thankful for them. In particular, Mark Meadows, Raul Labrador and other members of the Freedom Caucus are doing an outstanding job. But they are greatly outnumbered by a huge number of RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) that have fooled conservatives into voting for them. In 2018, it is time for conservatives to say that enough is enough.
If conservatives will work together, we can do extraordinary things. But we just can’t sit back and wait for someone else to do something.
Right now, the left is already working very hard on winning back Congress in 2018. In fact, on Monday it was being reported that Hillary Clinton has just launched a new organization which is going to be focused on helping Democratic candidates take seats away from the Republicans…
The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee on Monday formally launched Onward Together, a political nonprofit group that she said is “dedicated to advancing the progressive vision that earned nearly 66 million votes in the last election.”
The group is poised to help fund some of the organizations at the forefront of liberal efforts to push back on President Trump’s agenda and to seize seats from Republicans in Congress. Clinton said Onward Together will support groups such as Swing Left, which is working to elect Democrats to the House, and Indivisible, a rapidly expanding organization of anti-Trump activists who are using tactics borrowed from conservative Tea Party activists to oppose Trump and to challenge congressional Republicans at town hall meetings.
We can do the same sorts of things if we are just willing to take decisive action.
Just like I did yesterday, I would like to share with you an excerpt from an upcoming book. When it is finally finished, you will be able to find it on my author page. I am feeling led to become more involved in politics, and you will want to keep an eye on my websites for some very exciting announcements in the near future. The following excerpt from my upcoming book is about the need for a conservative revolution…
We are no longer going to have any tolerance for politicians that campaign like conservatives but who govern like Democrats. It has been said that Republicans and Democrats are just two sides of the same coin, and unfortunately that is quite true much of the time. At the end of the day, there really is not much difference between most Republicans and most Democrats. Of course the Democrats are taking us down the tubes a little bit faster than establishment Republicans would, but the destination is still the same.
This is why we don’t need another Republican revolution. What we actually need is a conservative revolution. As I write this, the Republicans have been given control of the White House, the Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives, and yet the government continues to pretty much operate as if the Democrats were still in control.
And whenever important negotiations between the two parties happen, the Democrats always get virtually everything that they want.
Unfortunately, it is because Democrats are far more willing to stand up for what they believe than Republicans are.
The primary reason for this is because many Republican lawmakers never believed in conservative principles in the first place. Even though most Republicans campaign as conservatives, most of them never actually intend to govern as conservatives, and it is time for conservative voters to put an end to this practice.
I do, of course, blame Congress most of all. They are swine. They only care about their own careers. Who knows how much of it is corruption and how much of it is pure stupidity? People should start sending Paul Ryan bricks to indicate how much we want the wall.
They are the opposition party to Donald Trump. This is really something we’ve never seen before. The president stands alone, it’s his own political party, he’s Gary Cooper. All we have is millions of Americans behind him, but he doesn’t have anybody in Washington behind him.
As a child, I was tremendously affected by the Reagan revolution. I was 10 years old when Ronald Reagan won the 1980 election, and I have had a deep interest in politics ever since.
Reagan won two presidential elections by landslides because he gave people hope. He made people believe that it could be “morning in America” again and that there could actually be a bright future for their children and their grandchildren. He did that by proudly embracing conservative values and by communicating them in a way that the average person on the street could understand.
Today, it is up to us to proudly carry on Reagan’s conservative legacy.
We need to be proud of what we believe.
We need to be proud of liberty and freedom.
We need to be proud of the values that our forefathers enshrined in the U.S. Constitution.
We need to be proud of free markets and capitalism.
We need to be proud of standing up for American sovereignty.
We need to be proud of being Pro-Life.
We need to be proud of wanting a limited federal government.
We need to be proud of defending the 2nd Amendment.
We need to be proud of wanting to lower taxes as far as possible (and someday eliminating them entirely).
And we need to be proud of our faith. For so long progressives have wanted to remove every possible shred of the Christian faith from the halls of government, but our founders were men of faith and our Declaration of Independence says that we get our rights not from any man-made document but from our Creator.
Unfortunately, strong men of faith that attempt to run for Congress are often greatly opposed by the establishment. For example, former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore is currently being blackballed by GOP leadership…
“I don’t think they want the way I think up there,” Moore said of the GOP leadership. “I’m not apologetic for the way I think. I just want to abide by the Constitution and acknowledge God as the basis for our Constitution, which He is. They don’t like that and I guess they don’t like that I stand for what I believe. But I’m not going to change doing that.”
I am proud to stand with Roy Moore, and I support his run for the U.S. Senate.
Way too often, conservatives, Christians and patriots end up bitterly fighting among themselves over very small issues. We need to figure out who our friends are, and we need to start working together to turn this country around while there is still time to do so.
I don’t know if we will be successful or not, but neither did the brave Americans that fought in the Revolutionary War. At that time, most people never would have dreamed that the colonies could win independence from the British, but thanks to the relentless efforts of our forefathers it actually happened.
So who will rise up and take a stand in this generation? You never know – maybe you will be the next conservative to completely shock the political world by coming out of nowhere and winning an election that you were not supposed to win.
Not too long ago, a minister that I greatly respect issued a national call for Christian men and women to become engaged in politics. I would encourage everyone reading this to carefully consider the following words from Rev. Franklin Graham…
We need men and women to run for office at every level, Christians who believe in biblical values and principles and are willing to stand for them and follow them.
And we need people who serve and follow Jesus Christ to learn the issues, pay attention to the candidates, and vote in every election—local, state, and national. I’m not telling people who to vote for. We won’t permit any candidates to appear at any Decision America Tour rally, and I am not endorsing anyone. Who to vote for is something each person should decide through prayer. No political party is going to be able to turn this around. I have no hope in the Democratic Party. I have no hope in the Republican Party. I have no hope in any other party to fix the problems. My only hope is in Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
Both my mother and my father were deeply affected by Billy Graham’s ministry, and now his son Franklin is carrying the gospel to a new generation.
Of course not everyone is called into politics. Some are called into the ministry, some are called into the business world, some are called to work with the poor and needy, some are called into the world of education, and some are called to serve in other ways.
But we can all do something to make a difference.
You were born for such a time as this. We can all be great at something, and it is when we are serving others that we become the very best versions of ourselves.
In 1976, an unassuming 41-year-old obstetrician-gynecologist from Texas won a seat in Congress. He probably never dreamed that he would one day run for president or that he would eventually become one of the most important conservative icons of his time.
His name is Ron Paul, and he showed the world what ordinary people can do if they are willing to put everything on the line to make a difference.
And you certainly don’t have to be a man to shake the world. In 2007, a 51-year-old mother of five literally came out of nowhere to win the seat representing Minnesota’s 6th congressional district. For eight years she proudly stood in the eye of the storm, and her contributions to the conservative cause will be remembered for as long as America exists.
Her name is Michele Bachmann, and the courage that she displayed on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives is sorely missed.
Now it is our turn. If we do not try, the forces that are trying to drag this nation into oblivion will win by default.
But that is not going to happen, because a new conservative revolution is rising.
All across America, young conservatives are getting ready to take this country back. We will not bend, we will not bow and we will not break. Like our forefathers before us, we will battle on even when it looks like the odds are totally against us, because you can never defeat the spirit of a true American.
Yes, this nation is facing some extremely great challenges.
But we are not going down without a fight.
So I issue a call to all that will hear me.
Come and stand with us as we fight for our Republic.
Come and stand with us as we fight to save the Constitution.
Come and stand with us as we fight for the future of our children and our grandchildren.
The progressives want to turn our shining city on the hill into yet another godless socialist utopia. But anyone that wants to see where that road leads should just move to Venezuela or North Korea.
Of course in the end the progressives are not going to win because the people of this country are not going to let them win.
There are millions of us that still remember what America is supposed to stand for, and there are millions of us that are still willing to carry the banner of freedom and liberty.
This is our time, and the next phase of the American Revolution begins now.
Housing Minister Yoav Galant calls for the assassination of Syrian President Bashar Assad at a conference in Latrun, near Jerusalem, on May 16, 2017. (image: Miriam Tzachi/Office of Yoav Gallant)
The US/Israeli axis represents humanity’s greatest threat – serial aggressors, partners in high crimes, waging endless wars.
Today is the most perilous time in world history because of their sinister agenda – along with the threat NATO represents.
Housing and construction minister Yoav Galant formerly was an IDF general, heading its Southern Command, in charge of December 2008/January 2009 preemptive naked aggression on Gaza – later criticized by then-attorney general Yehuda Weinstein for illegally seizing public land, judged unfit to be IDF chief of staff.
Elected to the Knesset in 2015, he’s part of Netanyahu’s extremist regime. As housing and construction minister, he’s responsible for expanding illegal settlements on stolen Palestinian land, ruthlessly displacing its legal occupants.
On Tuesday, he called for assassinating Syria’s Bashar al-Assad, fabricating accusations against him, saying he “does not have a place in this world.”
He lied claiming “(t)he reality of the situation in Syria is that they are executing people, using directed chemical attacks against them, and the latest extreme – burning their corpses, something we haven’t seen in 70 years.”
Shamelessly he referred to the Nazi holocaust, based on Assistant US Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Stuart Jones’ Big Lie – falsely accusing Assad of killing thousands of prisoners, then cremating them to hide evidence, offering no evidence of his spurious claim other than fake photos, a common US, NATO, Israeli tactic.
Separately on Army Radio, Galant despicably compared Assad to Hitler, saying “(w)hat is happening in Syria is defined as genocide…hundreds of thousands killed” – blaming him for high crimes committed by US-led aggression, Israel partnering in it, wanting a regional rival eliminated.
“In my view, we are crossing a red line,” Galant claimed, adding “the time has come to assassinate Assad. It’s as simple as that,” cutting off the “tail of the snake, (then) focus(ing) on the head…in Tehran.”
Allied with Washington’s imperial agenda, Israel wants all regional rivals eliminated. Conquering Syria, if achieved, isolates Iran. Targeting its government and Hezbollah come next, redrawing the Middle East map its objective, aiming to be its dominant, unchallenged power.
Former general Galant favors pursuing Israeli objectives militarily, featuring endless wars of aggression, mass slaughter and destruction – risking direct confrontation with Russia if pushed too far.
The recent cyber attack on computers worldwide is just the latest wakeup call to the future we are blindly building for ourselves. The vast majority of humanity embraces technology like it is their next breath of air. Without it, they feel like they will die.
Technology is a double edged sword that we wield that must be handled with care less we cut off one of our own limbs. Technology allows us to be more productive and work faster than without it but as we embrace more technology to relieve us of many manual tasks we must not let it rule our very existence.
Technology must be used as a lever, not a crutch. When we give up our ability to function in daily life and allow technology to rule our every move, we ultimately give up our freedom. To allow technology to dictate what we can do and when we can do it is to reduce ourselves to nothing more than compliant slaves to it.
When a hospital cannot perform operations or even see patients because their computers are down or we cannot communicate or travel because of computer hacking, we have allowed technology to become a crutch that prevents us from falling on our faces in its absence. When we cannot buy food or fuel or depend on electrical power for basic needs we have become too dependent on the technology we invented to assist us.
The use of technology is a good thing that allows us to move forward and build things we never dreamed of before but when it becomes a weakness, we need to reexamine our use of it. If we become so dependent on technology that we cannot function without it we are preparing ourselves for a doomsday scenario when it eventually fails and we are helpless to care for ourselves.
It is only logical to have backup systems to utilize in the event our technology fails for some reason. This is the whole reason we have people to warn us before hand such as the EMP Commission to tell us we are in danger if certain events happen. Technology provides us with many good things but it also leaves us susceptible to many bad things as well if we ignore our responsibility to use it wisely and not become too dependant on it.
Many people today can actually have withdrawal symptoms if they lose access to their technology for any length of time. This should be an alarm to society but most just brush it off as fear mongering. When the loss of technology causes a business to completely stop operations, that should be an indication they do not have sufficient backup systems to fall back on.
One of the prime tenants of the prepper movement is that they have multiple backup systems to rely on if technology stops working. This is just a logical step taken by people that have taken the time to analyze the threats posed by the loss our technology and determine action is warranted for the preservation of life following certain events. The less technology you require to take care of daily activities, the more freedom you have to live a normal life.
Most people still do not take the threat of technological disruptions to society seriously. They think that if something happens, someone will fix it and life will go on as normal. What they refuse to contemplate is if something happens and nobody can fix it. As society moves along this technological road they become more dependent on it and the risk to their lives increases as they lose the ability to do basic tasks. Hopefully this latest cyber attack will instill in people the need to have backup systems in place to continue their daily activities and live life as a free person and not be a slave to the technology they so eagerly seek.
Aromatherapy is the use of essential plant oils to improve well being. Natural plant oils are often placed in diffusers and allowed to permeate the air and have been used for centuries to address mostly psychological issues. Aromatherapy as a practice is thousands of years old. Ancient Egyptians employed the use of essential oils and other plant substances for massages, bathing, and healing. One of the major uses of aromatherapy in the US is for stress management.
How Aromatherapy Works
Some of the methods of aromatherapy include aerial diffusion (typically with an oil burner), topical application, and inhalation. It’s even occasionally administered vaginally, rectally, and orally for things like infection and congestion. Many practitioners use only natural essential oils since synthetics don’t provide the same benefit as the natural compounds. Synthetic fragrance oils may also contain chemical additives that can irritate the skin if applied topically.
Aromatherapy is very popular today for stress relief. It offers a natural, organic alternative to pharmaceutical substances and works to enhance lifestyle modifications that further reduce stress. These natural lifestyle modifications are of course exercise, diet, meditation, and proper sunlight exposure. One primary application method for essential oils is indirect and direct inhalation. Through inhaling the oils (from a safe distance, of course), the brain reacts by slowing down. This elicits a deep level of relaxation.
Massage is another stress-relieving technique that commonly employs essential oils, incorporating touch and the physical manipulation of joints and muscles to relieve tension and stress. Many essential oils used during massage are often diluted.
Aromatherapy has seen a great deal of scientific scrutiny, and research continues to report the amazing benefits of these natural concentrated plant oils. The scientific research being done so far reports positive results. In France, it’s already part of their mainstream medicine, which is appropriate considering that France is credited with being the birthplace of “aromatherapy.”
The Stress of Daily Life
Stress is an aspect of life; however, there are different types of stress that must be addressed. ‘Good’ stress, or eustress, can actually motivate you to accomplish goals and keep you safe from adverse situations. Negative stress, on the other hand, usually stems from some prolonged negative thought about the past or the future. The negative stress is what should be dealt with in order to support good health.
While you may not be able to always eliminate a negative situation, there are many things you can do to reduce stress which will hopefully eliminate health problems related to that stress. Aromatherapy is one effective way to combat the emotional upheaval that accompanies stressful events. Stress can hinder digestion, immune function, and increase the likelihood of cardiovascular disease. Simply by reducing your negative emotions that surround a certain situation, you begin to change the way you think and act, thereby minimizing the situation.
The Dangers of Unmanaged Stress
It’s not worth ignoring stress or accepting it; you have power over the stress you experience. You can attenuate the effects of stress in your life by practicing meditation, deep breathing, exercising, socializing, or simply taking a hot shower. Of course, using essential oils in your daily routine will also support a positive mood no matter what the situation. If you choose to ignore stress, your body becomes worn down in multiple ways. Not only do you become tired and lose motivation, your immune system, cells, and brain weakens.
Consider the following:
Stress can affect your blood sugar levels, leading to hunger and, eventually, insulin insensitivity.
Many people who do not properly manage their stress experience weight gain.
Premature aging is another possible danger of not properly managing your stress levels.
General pain throughout the body can be a side effect of unmanaged stress.
Some of the most popular essential oils with stress-relieving properties include geranium, peppermint, lavender, jasmine, chamomile, and lemongrass. Add aromatherapy to your arsenal as you fight against stress. The benefits can be quite effective, and the ease of use makes it a great choice.
How to Use Essential Oils
Be sure to read your labels to make certain that your oil contains organic, all-natural essential oils. Never apply essential oils to the skin without proper diluting it in a carrier agent. Proper carrier oils include jojoba, olive, and coconut oil. Because oils are concentrated, they can irritate the skin without a natural and benign carrier oil accompanying its application. One method of using aromatherapy is simply applying oils to your hands and breathing in the oil deeply. You can apply the oils to clothes, handkerchiefs, pillows, and just about anything. When you go for a massage, ask your masseuse if they can use essential oils geared toward soothing, relaxing, and de-stressing. You may be able to bring your own oil to the session.
